We are facing an increasingly complex and volatile world in 2021 both personally, professionally and in our communities and wider world. At this event, we will explore the latest thinking about the empowerment of women as leaders for climate change, the role of business and why businesses that focus on a triple bottom line of profits, people and planet will be the sole survivors and innovators of the future.
This event will be led by Dr. Sam Collins, Founder and CEO of Aspire, named ‘One of the Top 200 Women to Impact Business and Industry’ by Her Majesty the Queen and ‘A Woman Shaping the World’ by CNN. Award-winning leadership expert, social entrepreneur, keynote speaker and internationally bestselling author, Dr Collins is a leading global voice on leadership and change for workplaces, organizational culture and community impact.

Dr. Sam Collins, Founder and CEO Aspire for Equality
Award winning women in leadership expert, social entrepreneur, keynote speaker, coach and international bestselling author. She is a leading global voice on leadership and change for workplaces, organizational culture and community impact. Sam has been named one of the ‘Top 200 Women to Impact Business & Industry’ by Her Majesty, The Queen, one of the ‘Top 10 Coaches’ by The Independent and ‘Leader in the Workplace’ in the Ogûnte Women’s Social Leadership Awards. She is also the author of the internationally bestselling book, ‘Radio Heaven – One Woman’s Journey to Grace‘.
Nicky Crawford, Director, PwC Sustainability and Climate Change
Nicky is a Director in PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change team. With over 20 years’ experience in sustainability consulting Nicky has a deep technical knowledge of sustainability issues. Nicky has advised a diverse set of clients from financial services, renewable energy, healthcare, oil & gas, transport, waste and real estate in both mature and emerging markets. She sits on the Responsible Investment Advisory Board of the British Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (BVCA), and the Responsible Investment Roundtable of Invest Europe. Nicky has previously volunteered as a mentor for Aspire, she’s a self-confessed Pilates evangelist and gin lover, wife, mum and step-mum and swam the English Channel in 2015 as part of a relay.
Stacy Hope, Ph.D, Social Intelligence Specialist ESG, Africa Matters Ltd.
Stacy Hope is an Independent Advisor and Consultant with over 14 years’ experience working with governments, multilateral agencies and the private sector across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, where she has advised and developed strategies on strengthening institutional governance, climate and disaster risk, local content, gender and the extractive sector’s transition towards “green-growth.” Added to her consultancy, Stacy leads the ESG advisory services of an Africa-focused risk management firm, Africa Matters Limited, developing and integrating sustainability mechanisms within corporates, public institutions and non-profit organizations. She also sits on the Executive Committee for Women in Mining UK where she heads their Global Outreach Committee.
Ella Matthews, Founder 1 Planet, 1 Chance
Ella Matthews is a 21 year old student who studies Liberal Arts at the University of Leeds, UK. Alongside her degree, she runs an organization centered around care (Care to be Better), works as a mental health – health care assistant in a mental health hospital, and leads the Pandemic Podcast (a group which aims to support other students during the pandemic). Two years ago, she co-founded a non profit environmental organization called 1 Planet 1 Chance. Her main passion is care. She thinks it can transform the way we think and live our lives. It has been the biggest driving factor for her own self-improvement and contribution to climate change.
Kat Haber, Founder, TRUST Climate Action Strategists
Kat is a climate action strategist, TEDx Organizer and world advocate. She helps influencers and their networks identify climate solutions to incorporate into their lives in fun ways. She brought TEDx to Homer, Alaska and Vail, Colorado. She believes that ideas worth spreading deserve leaders amplifying them into action in their communities. She’s honored to serve through Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, WILD Foundation and We Rotary. She walked across America in the Great March for Climate Action. She skis feverishly, laughs generously and rises up women/indigenous and youth voices.
